Raimondo Family Tree

The Raimondo family tree traces the history of today’s Raymond family—formerly of Norristown and Vandergrift, PA—and descendants of the Italo-Albanian village of Acquaformosa, Italy. The documented history of the Raimondo family goes back to the early 1700’s in the southern Italian village of Acquaformosa—in the region of Calabria. Because the village is steeped in Albanian culture and customs (many residents speak Albanian as a first language), it is thought that the earliest origins of the Raimondo family begin somewhere in what is present-day Albania.
